One thing of note is I start the modpack locally using a start.bat file, however it seems to use similar parameters to what is shown here in the console so I'm not sure if that matters or not. My host is Hostinger (3gb plan, though only 2 is usable), if anyone is familiar with them, and here's a link to the modpack:

This java will only be used by the server and not your system. jar in the Daemon jar directory, tried uploading both never started before versions and ones I know work locally, tested different RAM settings, nothing seems to work. Even worse, it doesn't create a log file at all, no information on why it's crashing, unless I'm dumb and looking in the wrong place. It does that, and then prints the start up parameters to the console and then crashes, no information on why it crashes, and Multicraft just tries to restart it over and over again as it crashes.

The modpack, using something called mohist, doesn't detect it and asks to install a custom version of Java 8 in the directory.
jar files for 1.12.2 which is what the modpack is based off of, and to be safe I went ahead and installed the latest Java version for Linux onto the VPS. For starters it doesn't detect that there is a supported version of Java on my system, despite the fact that the host provides. While the server runs fine locally, as in I can start it and connect via localhost for the address, once I upload everything to the Multicraft directory it freaks out on me.
However, I've been trying to get a modpack called Tekkit Classic Refined to run on my hosted Multicraft server.
